Founded in Melbourne in 2017, A.EMERY is built on a foundation of refined minimalism. Widely known for their considered footwear collections, the brand has since expanded into ready-to-wear, offering timeless pieces designed with versatility in mind.

Our sandals are handcrafted in the Delhi region of India, while our boots are meticulously made in the Veneto region of Italy using locally sourced leather. Our ready-to-wear collection is crafted in China by expert manufacturers. These partnerships are built on mutual respect and trust, nurtured through annual visits to our factories and long-term collaborations. Many of our team members have worked with these makers since before A.EMERY’s inception, underscoring the depth of these relationships.
We ensure that all partners adhere to internationally recognised audits, focusing on above-living-wage pay, safe working environments, anti-discrimination policies, and legal age requirements. These audits are updated annually to maintain compliance with global standards.
Our footwear is crafted from high-quality leather, a natural by-product of the meat industry, procured exclusively through the Leather Working Group (LWG). As the leading global certifier for sustainable leather manufacturing, the LWG prioritises environmental compliance and industry improvement.
For our apparel, we source premium fabrics from Japan, Italy, and China, including materials approved by the Better Cotton Initiative (BCI), a non-profit organisation dedicated to advancing sustainable cotton farming practices. We also incorporate deadstock fabrics wherever possible, repurposing surplus materials to reduce waste and close the production loop.
