Founded in Melbourne in 2017, A.EMERY is built on a foundation of refined minimalism. Widely known for their considered footwear collections, the brand has since expanded into ready-to-wear, offering timeless pieces designed with versatility in mind.

Guided by a commitment to premium materials and meticulous craftsmanship, A.EMERY pieces are created to seamlessly integrate into the modern wardrobe, embodying understated elegance for every season.

Our sandals are handmade in the Delhi region of India, our boots are hand crafted in the Veneto region of Italy, from locally sourced leather and our ready to wear pieces are created in China from expert makers. We enjoy working closely with the teams that create our collections, visiting our factories annually and building strong, mutually beneficial and long-term relationships. Growing these relationships will continue to be a highlight for our staff, many of whom have worked with these manufactures longer than A.EMERY has.

We are committed to ensuring that all our partners comply with internationally recognised audits, which focus on delivering above living wage pay, safe working conditions, and anti-discrimination policies as well as ensuring that all workers are of legal age. These audits are conducted and updated annually and comply with international standards.

A.EMERY’s footwear is crafted from high quality leather, a natural product and a by-product of the meat industry. All of A.EMERY’s leather is procured through the Leather Working Group (LWG). The LWG is an international, not-for-profit organisation responsible for the world’s premiere leather manufacturing certification. The organisation focuses on improving environmental compliance within the leather industry. 

A.EMERY’s apparel is made with high quality fabrics sourced from Japan, Italy, and China. We have been working with materials approved by the Better Cotton Initiatives (BCI) and will endeavour to use BCI on all future cotton garments. BCI is a not-for-profit organisation promoting better standards in cotton farming and practices. A.EMERY has also been working with dead stock fabrics where possible, working with fabric mills in closing the production loop. Dead stock fabric is made from surplus materials that are no longer in production and destined for landfill.
